HomePNA is a relatively new technology, which allows you to network your
home computers much like a LAN using your existing telephone
wiring. Internet access can be shared among several computer with or without a
router. Computers can access each other’s peripherals like printers and
storage devices as well as the ability to play multiplayer games. HomePNA
uses a different frequencies than voice or fax calls while conducting data
across the phone line.
If existing phone lines transmit voice messages, DYNAMIX HP-30C allows
transmitting multimedia data at a speed of 100 Mbps, e.g. video on demand
etc. at a distance of 600 m. (more about in "Solution" section)
Thу Ethernet bridge allows you to connect PCs and Ethernet enabled
devices, such as Switch, HUB and printers, to a Home Networking LAN by simply
plugging into the existing RJ-11 jacks.
The "No New Wires" technologies" available for networking within homes and
small businesses have the difficulties with the media channel because it is
typically severely impaired.
