Enabling QoS support in the ADSL2+ modem/router Tiger 2Plus (4 LAN) will provide maximum comfort and effective work in a global
network. Tiger 4LAN can provide network access for a small group of users through a single ADSL connection (without additional network equipment).
Usually a small group of users (up to 4 when using Tiger 2Plus (4 LAN) uses a single ADSL connection to the service provider
for access the Internet. Since each user uses the Internet access at his discretion (which may be: downloading files from FTP servers, receive
e-mails, use of VoIP telephony, watching IPTV, networked games, etc.), it would result that all traffic should be divided between those users. In the modem without the QoS support traffic separation is unpredictable and can lead to loss of packets. As a result users will face in fact an narrowing bandwidth. Because after packet loss modem will try to send it once more and quantity of packets will double each
time.
Using QoS provides the ability to intelligently establish priorities for the bandwidth, for example, give the highest priority to VoIP or IPTV package, but a lower priority - a package of FTP, SMTP clients and file network. Thus the most critical applications will be performed most efficiently with guaranteed bandwidth, and therefore without errors.
